What do I have to provide to you?
As soon as you sign up, we'll provide a link to your own Emerald Coast Webs Virtual Office page. On that page you will find a few questions about the goal or purpose of your site and if you already have any content you would like to use (graphics or copy). There are also buttons to upload any logo, pictures or text for inclusion on your site. We'll take it from there and contact you if we need anything else.
Do I have to provide you with pictures and graphics for my site?
No - every site is unique and while we would prefer to use any existing artwork you have, we will create appropriate graphics for your site. If you want extensive graphics or Flash, we'll review your requirements and provide a quote.
How long will it take to get my website?
That depends on the type of web site. For sites like the Personal Resume or Home Owners Association, the turn time is typically 48 hrs from the time you provide all the information for your site. For the business standard plans, turn time is typically one to two weeks. For more detailed business application sites, the design time depends on the complexity.
How do I get into the big search engines so people can find my site?
We include the standard search engine optimization you would expect with an efficient site design (keywords, meta tags, header tags, etc.). We do not include paid placement or paid submission. If you are interested in specific site marketing plans, contact us.
Do I get a chance to see the site before it goes live?
Yes, we will produce the basic layout (color scheme, navigation, etc ) and post it to your Virtual Office for approval. After you review and approve, the site will go live.
